Curves Around The World: WEEK1 - ANIMAL PRINT

 Hello, hello .... ladies!!!

Im supposed to be sleeping but I just cant. So, because ill be having a busy and tiring day ahead today I just thought I should post this weeks series theme which is collaborated with my fabulous blogger friends from around the globe.

In my last post I did introduce them so the posts for this weeks theme are supposed to be up today (Wednesday).... so, because of time zone some posts from their blogs might not be up immediately so you need to be a lil' bit patient to see all fabulous posts.

This weeks theme is Animal Print and it was a challenge for me to pick a perfect outfit for this post even though I am  a huge animal print lover. My Challenge was due to the fact that all items I own are very light for the weather we have been having and I take all my pictures for the blog at work during the week and if I miss that ... its an epic fail for everyone.

So today the weather was very much forgiving and I managed to ensemble this animal print fire, lol... The focal point was my jacket and I was a lil bit hesitant as to what to throw in for my accessories but decided to add up my animal print pumps just as an overdose of cheekiness and character and gold bracelets and earings. Also used my old favourite brown clutch bag. Hope you all love my outfit as much as I do.

If this was your challenge, what would have been your ideal animal print outfit??? Ofcoz, I need your inputs as well- on how I have tackled this challenge, lol.

Enjoy ladies and please check out my friends efforts as well. Thanx!!!

Fitness First

Ladies, how are you this Monday morning?

Last week on Monday I started doing my Zumba with the aim of bringing my sexy back, lol ... its really more than that.

On a serious note: I have been feeling very sluggish and bloated and as a result my energy levels have been very low... moods were just terrible, I just felt very ill. On Sunday last week when I was busy doing spring cleaning at home I came across my body scale. Immediately I felt very sick... feeling guilty for so many reasons but hopped on regardless cause I have not been monitoring my weight for a while (3months to be specific).   Discovery was that, I have gained so much on this period and I was very hurt because I am the one who did that to myself.
I love my food and all I need to do is just limit the portions and exercise consistently. I am very lazy to exercise because we don’t have a gym place close to where I live and exercising at home alone is even much difficult.  I bought Zumba and Taebo cds with the hope that I’ll be a able to just do it on my own but failed dismal.
After realising I have been piling up weight slowly but surely. I decided to try out Zumbaring at home on my own and just be on a quest to finish a Zumba 10 days accelerated program. Today, I'm on my 8th day having commited to this program. I have been waking up at 5:30am and just dance for 60minutes and then prepare to go to work.
In one of the days, I was unable to do the hour that I normally use for my Zumba dance but decided to do a 20minutes express routine instead of not exercising at all. So I feel like im on top of things for now and I have been tweaking everything to suit my needs.
Before I started this 10days accelerated program, I have been indulging in all sorts of junk. I love savoury foods and i'm not a sweet tooth person. My guilty pleasures are a packet of crisps, meat and bread.
All I am saying in this post that even though it is winter, no gym place around or not having a gym partner to motivate us, we can do this on our own even if there is no one to help us along. All we need is determination, focus and having a clear purpose and goal to achieve consistent exercise routine and managing our weight.
My quest is to loose at least 40kgs before summer and so far from this challenge I have lost 3.8kgs. Continuing like I have been doing in the past week, I will get to my destination by summer.
Id be very much pleased if you could advise on how I could stay focussed and avoid to slip, I have been on this road before but I don’t seem to be able to finish the way I start the race. I slipped before due to lack of motivation and just gave up before the race was over.
Lets get talking girls, how do you stay in shape even if it is winter???

 Zumba Dance

This is what we need to be eating, even though it is hard!!!

Lets getting moving and stay healthy ladies :)

Cheers!!!

CowGirl

Hi for the third time tonight :) Lol

Its the last post for tonight (FOR REAL, REAL hahahaha) about my sunday and after that - I am out ....On Sunday, I went to my sunday church meetings and in the afternoon I was invited to go watch horses race in Bizana. I immediately agreed I love horses and ofcoz because I wanted to dress up and just be out and about in some country village breathing fresh air.

On this day, it was cold and windy but some little sun was present as well - raising hopes that it was gonna be much warmer as the day progressed. So, I wanted to be a COWGIRL but I dont wear them jeans to dressup like that. My friend Thandi managed to be a cute cowgirl for the day (I was jealous for a moment but later loved my outfit). All I could come up with was only the cowgirl concept with my own interpretation.

So what is your take on my cowgirl interpretation for the day? Was I cowgirl enough???

OUT AND ABOUT: FUN NIGHT

Hey, hey Fab Ladies!!!

On Friday afternoon, I travelled to Mount Ayliff to visit my friend Thandi and also to go to a funeral. On saturday, we went to the funeral and later went to Kokstad to run some errands and also have a scrumptuos supper. We had a lot of fun and this is what I wore as it was chilly. I mixed all these beautiful bright colors for a cold and dark winter night and it felt awesome. I had some gloves on but I took them out when we had to eat at Wimpy and when we were taking these pictures after eating all that fabulosity was totally forgotten. How bad :(

Hope this outfit makes sense to you as it does to me. Would you rock these many colours at a go???

AT LAST: FLOWERY FRIDAY :)

Good evening guys :)

I am happy I am writing this post because I have a couple of pictures to share with you on what really happened the previous weekend BUT this post is about my Friday outfit.

I bought this spiked up jacket during Mr Price challenge and everytime I wear it I dont seem to remember taking pictures to share with you. I was really begining to think that this jacket is cursed or has some kind of bad spell on it. Lol ....

Ok, on this very friday I was just very lucky I remembered to take some when I visited the switchboard office on my way out for the weekend. I asked an old lady whom I care and adore so much to help out. She had some challenges focussing the camera as a result I ended up with blurry pictures and the ones accompanying this post.

Regardless, I love these pictures because I  have accomplished my mission to share a picture with this fabulous jacket and I think it blended well with my floral Pick'nPay dress.

What do you think???

MIXED PRINTS MONOCHROME MAGIC

Good evening, Fabulous Ladies...

The weather has been forgiving this week except for today cause it was very cold in an unbearable way and the funny thing is that, it was very warm in the morning and got colder as the day got by. Deceiving, right???
Ok, enough with my ramblings about todays weather :)

Tonight, I am sharing what I wore yesterday at work... It all started with my black and white linen dress. I like teaming up black and white with red so in my head automatically all accesories were gonna be red by default. BUT, I decided  to add more black and white and more white and black accesories. I then added my bad ass red All Star boots and WHOAALLA.... I had an amazing outfit :)

LOL LOL LOL... I really could not resist touchin up with my fabulous red but to the minimal and the final product is FANTABULOUS because it is smart but casual and playful simultaneously ...

Do you think mixing black and white prints does it for you when looking at my tribal print dress and animal print scarf??? or you prefer combination of dots and stripes kinda black and white prints???

Regardless, I love my mix: hope you do too :)
