Winter Elegance

Good morning Fab Ladies...

I am supposed to be sleeping right now but im just a victim of insomnia at this very moment. Thought id utilize my time wisely by writing this post for you.

This is an outfit I wore on Wednesday this week. It was very cold and because I wore an outfit I did not like on Monday it has been my mission to look great for the rest of the week.

I know I have redeeemed myself from my bad outfit for Monday which is my previous post from this one. My fur coat has been a treasure in my closet for many years now and it aint going nowhere :)

I  am completely sold on this outfit. I love it a lot with all the mix of colours and textures. How about you? Did I miss the mark again?

OOTD: Something is missing!!!

Hey, Hey Ladies!!!

Hopefully you had a fantabulous weekend like me :)although my weekend was raining and eventually became housebound. I woke up late for work today and I kind of panicked as I always decide in the mornings what to wear to work.

The rain gave us a break but it was still chilly. All I had in my mind was to get something that does not need any ironing but warm enough to get me through the day. As I opened my closet the fisrt thing I saw was this grey spotted skirt and when I looked up where I keep my pullovers I spotted my oversized lavender pullover and immediately I was satisfied. Thought I would be able to wear a turban and black heeled boots but everything just went wrong. Time was really against me :(

If I were to wear the same outfit again, how would you advise to make it a complete outfit??? As I am looking at these pictures, I am unhappy with the outcome. I think, this outfit is lacking something to take it from this BORINGGGGGGGG state to a FABULOUS one. I think heels could have made a tremendous difference, for heaven's sake it is a Monday. What was I thinking, really???

What else do you think ladies? Please help to advise the sister in need. So that I dont make this mistake ever again.

Thanking you in advice :)

Its raining Dark Green Leather/Suede Thrift Jacket

Hello...Hello Fab Ladies!!!

The Eastern Cape Province is very cold this week and it is getting worse tomorrow as it is forecasted that here in Mt Fletcher it is gonna SNOW....Yes, SNOW :) Yippeeeee!!! Awesomeness (although I have not thought of an outfit to celebrate that). Am really looking forward to the snow :)

Todays post is about what I wore in todays freezing weather. At first, it was a struggle as I still have my summer clothes in my wardrobe but luckily in one of the hangers at the back, I spotted my DARK GREEN LEATHER JACKET which I thrifted in 2010 just before relocating to Australia and I never got a chance to wear it as I left it behind :( Believe it or not, all this jacket costed me was R45,00. It is a Huge investment I must say, especially with this colour and make :) I am really happy the jacket is not black.

Coincidentally, during preparations of my Mothers Twin sister funeral (which was about 3 weeks ago) One of my generous aunts gifted me her vintage printed skirt which came in handy to team up with my jacket today. I also teamed up both (jacket and the skirt)with a purple turtleneck and toned down gold accesories also with nuetral coloured boots. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my outfit, do you???

Ladies, how else can I wear this Wonderful Vintage Find (GREEN LEATHER JACKET)???

Sporty Chic

 Hi, again ladies...

At last!!! I have managed to get myself the famous college jacket. I have not really been too keen to get one but when I saw this grey number, something within me just convinced and confirmed that it is about time for me to own one.

I love this look because it is casual and smart at the same time. The earthy tones of the boot and the handbag compliments this light grey colour combination and the pink bangle just gives a adequate oomph to the entire outfit.

I wore this outfit at work during the week,I think it was a wednesday and I like the fact that I did not have to wait until friday (which is our casual day) to rock my Varsity Jacket. I am beautiful, jealous down :)

Already, I am thinking of other ways to wear it at work and still remain smart. Any suggestions ladies???

Trench, Fur and Polka

Good evening my Fab Ladies :)

We have been having a very cold week, which required serious winter clothes. Oohh my, I had fun dressing up on this morning: only because I have been missing wearing my UGG fur boots and because I bought (used edgars club reward points) myself a polka dot scarf on my way to work from my Aunts funeral. So, those two were my basic inspiration for the entire outfit. I mixed up all key items and whoala :) Lol!!!! I had fun.

I am digging my ensemble especially the pop of colour from the red polka scarf, how about you??
