Curves Around The World: Peplum

Hey, Beauties!!!

Hope you all enjoying your Saturday! Its freaking cold where I am. Winter is sneaking in slowly but surely. I must admit I cant wait to pull out my winter gear.

This post is about Curves Around the World Peplum theme. I never really indulged into Peplum as a result I only have this peplum top which I bought on a highly discounted sale. I don't really have many reasons for not having more peplum items....at some point when its started being on trend, I kinda convinced myself that I wont look good in peplum as it will add volume on my thick hips but looking at these pictures my perception is changed - I look good and well proportioned. So, I was wrong!!!

Its clear that in future I will have to give some trends a benefit of the doubt before dismissing the idea of wearing them.

Yes, this is my version of Peplum Style. Hope you love it :)

Curves Around The World: Neon

Good Evening, Friends!!!

Its Wednesday and you know what that means :)
Yes, Curves Around The World themed plus size outfits!!!

Its no different this week as well .... Our theme is NEON!!!
I love bright colours and the suit my skin colour perfect (that's what I think - esp. when convincing myself to wear more bright colours, lol).

This week I decided to feature Chubby Cartwheels famous bandeau. The bandeau's HOT PINK colour qualifies for our theme. On my last post I paired this bandeau with a bodycon skirt and this time around I decided on pairing with pants to show the versatility of this Chubby Cartwheels bandeau.

I get inspired by Shawna and working with her and also dressing her designs has really assisted me in enhancing myself's body love and also spreading the word to all of you - emphasizing to love yourselves so much the way you are RIGHT NOW.

By wearing pants with this bandeau I am trying to show you its ok to just live in the moment and be yourself. Also in need to say - its ok to show some skin. I know, my tummy is not flat and all but I comfortable to just show it anyway.

I must say, I am getting much more comfortable with myself taking, looking at and posting my pictures showing my imperfections to all of you because ive grown to love and accept them as they are.

As much as I promote being healthy but I am sorry - I am not gonna wait until I am 50kgs lighter to love myself. I love myself NOW, tomorrow and definately on the day Id lose that much weight. Happiness, Self love and positivity will definately help me get to my goal weight cause stress will do the opposite.

I say NO  to STRESS and BODY NEGATIVITY...

"Cheers to Body Positivity RIGHT NOW,
regardless of imperfections!!!"

Hope you love my small dose of NEON :)

Curves Around the World: Bombshell

Good Afternoon, guys!!!

Its lunch time at work and I am thinking let me rather spend my hour writing to you :)

It is Wednesday, you know what that means :)
Curves Around the World time .... plus size themed outfits!!!

Last week there was no CATW post as all of us in the group had a problem one way or the other - we decided to postpone to this week. So, sorry for that :)

Bombshell is the theme for this week and when I think bombshell I have this imagination of a polished up lady with a fitted dress, red lips, nice hair and very high heels. Thought of going that route but making this practical for myself - I thought about instances when I felt bombshell and discovered that for me in reality Bombshell is more of a feeling more than the outfit itself. The outfit does compliment the feelings and that's one a Super Bombshell :)

Feeling good in my normal clothes when going to work on a Monday morning is priceless :) This does qualify me to say I am a bombshell on those days. What ever bombshell feelings I feel inside they radiate through the outside and give me super confidence and the great attitude.

Because I am currently in love with Maxi Dresses - I thought I should use a maxi dress for this challenge and this specific dress really does make me feel like a bombshell. Its summer and the colour is just perfect - the bustier area is giving me life lol!!! This dress can be worn for lunch with the gals, office, drinks maybe??? etc.

I wore this dress last Wednesday at work and felt awesome :)

Do you ever channel your inside bombshell??? You better, I think that that the better one to spice your outfits up :)

Tulle Skirt .... No, Tulle Dress: LOL!!!

Good Evening Friends :)

I have been coveting some tulle skirts on the net from different shops but did not get one due to how expensive they really are and because I was also hoping to come across a reasonably priced one maybe at Woollies or Donna Claire. Unfortunately that did not occur and I came across a promising skirt at Mr Price in December 2013 - moreover the skirt was on sale and priced to go. I couldn't resist the price and I decided to just buy it, why not???

That's the skirt I am wearing here as a boob tube dress because when I got home everything was just wrong and not even close to what I had imagined to look like when wearing the real puffed up tulle skirt with many layers of lace. Disappointed :(

I was heart broken because this skirt worn as a skirt - the lace on top is just ridiculously long it really looked bad and made me look very short. So, I thought of cutting it to the length of my satisfaction but held that though as I played with some other ideas on how I could wear this without ruining the original design so that I can give it away still in intact state. So I thought of a boob tube dress :) That's exactly what I did with this skirt when I played dress up at home. I am still hurt its not a real thing but I am happy Mr Price gave me a taste of my dream and I really loved this orange colour as well cause it is very versatile to suit all seasons.

What do you say? Did I at least do justice styling this item? I needed to cover up to hide my bra line but decided to just let things be - I was at home not going anywhere, why not??? The belt could have been more nicer if was also orange I think, what do you say??

I boldly think this outfit is highly decent!!!
