Curves Around the World: 1Dress = 3Styles

Hey, guys!!!

Curves Around the World post has arrived. This week the challenge  is to come up with 3 looks from one dress. This has been an exciting challenge for me cause I love dresses.

I recently bought a Maxi dress and I decided to use it for this challenge. It is summer already here in South Africa but we still get some cooler days regardless. For the past week we have had a volatile weather which allowed me to style this dress as I pleased. I managed to pair it with Converse studded hitop sneaks, Wedged Heels and flat sandals for a weekend feel. Styling for all three has been easy and fun to do with more than satisfactory results.

I love all three styles and already see that this dress is gonna be a go to for this summer. Reason being, it is a most versatile piece in my wardrobe currentl and I have hardly fallen for it, I love the color, print and feel against my skin. Its one of those things that make one appreciate owning. Happy feeling :)

Do you have a dress in your closet that you cant leave behind if you were to travel? What is it? A maxi, bodycon, skater etc.??? I love all kinds as long as they are dresses, lol :) Have you tried doing the same challenge? What were the outcomes?

Enjoy!!!

  1. The dress is so versatile and you can pick the colours out of it depending on which other colours you pair it with. I'm torn between liking looks 2 and 3 most.

  5. This has to be one of my favorite outfit challenges ever. It's fun to see how girls style the same garments across different outfit posts, but to have the same dress styled three different ways all in one post is great style inspiration. I love how different each of your looks are, especially the first one. It's amazing how much of a difference shoes have on an outfit, too. You definitely make me want to grab some of my more summery dresses and style them with boots and scarves for a different look!

  7. Thulie, I must say that I love the third look. Denim is one of my favorite pieces of clothing to wear. I like how you paired this vest with the dress. Looks very cool and carefree.

  10. This is a wonderful dress!! Well one you for not just picking a solid colour dress...this really shows that a favorite patterned dress can be just as versatile. My favorite look is the 3rd one. For some reason I just feel the whole vibe of it suits you so well!
