Curves Around the World: Girls Night Out

Hello, ladies!!!

Girls Night Out - yes, that's the theme for Curves Around the World for this week. I love Girls Night Outs because all they are filled with is happiness, updates about each others lives, naughtiness :) yes, naughtiness - flirting, dancing and glasses of whatever one feels like drinking. I always don't know what to expect when I go out with my friends cause we all have interesting characters - good thing is that when we do go out - We know how to have fun :)

I bought this swing dress from Asos last year and I have worn it twice and when I do wear it, I always wear it with stockings because it is a bit short and the weather is always a bit chilly.

Next time when I go out with my girls I am planning to wear this dress without stockings. Its spring and soon will be summer: come on, I cant be burning myself because I have to cover up.

I know, I am FAT but seriously sometimes I need a break from everyone and everything reminding me of FAT DONT's!!! Cant one just be free for a day and/or night, really? When it comes to such rules - I totally switch off and shutdown - I become totally rebellious and ensure to prove a point afterwards by challenging myself to show whoever interested that actually, it is ok not to comply.

I had a little challenge for myself today - I challenged my self to take pictures with this dress and actually write this post for everyone in the whole world to see that " it actually is ok, to be imperfect sometimes and not be too serious about things and just live and enjoy the moment: cause to be honest few people might notice you anyway - people are busy with their own issues.

You can call it justification but I call it self love cause "my fatness doesn't define me instead its part of me" and I am IN CHARGE. Enough about me, your turn :)

Whats  you ideal outfit for going out at night with the girls???

OOTD: Yellow Sunshine

Good Evening, guys!

The weather still continues to be crappy but its not stopping me to shine through with my yellow clothing pieces. Last week we had a meeting in Queenstown and it was raining cats and dogs on our way there but in the afternoon it was somewhat a different story as the weather changed for the better.

On this day I woke up in a good mood and found myself in a dear need to wear yellow items. I could have worn a yellow dress but decided to accessorise my earthy coloured thrifted maxi skirt and boots with a yellow cardie and scarf instead.

When the meeting finished I was dog tired as a result I am lucky to even have these few pictures to show you my outfit for that day. I always try to take pictures of my everyday outfits but fail to post them in time because of too much going on in my life currently. I promise to improve in this area though :)

I am happy I came across Elle Magazine feature on page 107 - giving nods to the yellow trend seen on international fashion shows by designers like Michael Kors, DKNY etc. It really gave a confirmation that I have a sharp fashion sense :)

If Elle Magazine gives a nod, everyone is happy - like I am at this moment :) :) :)

Do you ever wear yellow? How much of it? Would you ever wear yellow from head to toe???

Curves Around The World: Crop Top

Good Morning, my fabulous friends :)

Curves Around the World post has arrived and this weeks theme is CROP TOP. I love crop tops they just suite  my upper body as I have short torso so for me crop tops
become normal tshirts.

The weather has been very bad as a result I have not been able to wear something that's crop top. Today, I am posting an outfit I wore early last week that has a CROP TOP with a front tie that I tucked in. I wore suspenders with this skirt because the waist is big.

I promise to take other pictures when the weather is clear so that you can see a lil bit of skin because with this outfit there is no skin showing as I wore this at work. During weekend I don't mind showing my skin and therefore will take appropriate pictures for you. I like wearing my crop tops with high waisted skirts and or on top of my maxi dresses.

I hope this post qualifies for this theme, for now :)

How do you wear your CROP TOPS!!!

Bridal Shower Outfit

Hey, guys!!!

Two weeks ago I attended a bridal shower of my very close friend Pamela Sontsaka and I had a blast :)

I have many pictures so I am deciding to show you what I wore first and then write another post for the actual bridal shower event. The theme was WHITE for all of us attendees (her friends from all over) and the bride wore a coral dress. I guess, we were given an opportunity to shine in our white outfits so that on the day of the wedding she can be the only BRIDE, lol.

I don't usually buy white items as a result I was cought up in my own web undecided on what to wear. I tried hitting the stores to check for white items I could wear on this day and you know what happens when you look for things last minute: you have slim chances to get what you are looking for. So, I was unfortunate :(

I decided to dig my closet for all white items I own - out of that there were 4 white dresses with different make. I chose the one I am wearing because I wanted to be comfortable and true to myself cause bridal showers are fun and mainly full of games. Heels were never gonna cut it for me, not on this day #justification, lol :)I went, the casual route ... and I was gorgeous, yes: you heard me - gorgeous hahahahaha :)

So, here is the outfit :)

Curves Around the World: Week21 - Pink

Good Morning, Fabulous Friends!!!!

Its ROUND3 of Curves Around The World themed outfits. This Weeks theme is Pink. One of our members Nina came up with this theme because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I am glad she suggested  because we have to honour and support this awareness campaign. So, this post is dedicate to all those who did not make it, the survivors, fighters and also serves as an education to those who do not know their status to encourage asap testing.

I have seen plenty of bloggers educating their readers about Breast Cancer in total and I am happy about this because the more we talk about Breast Cancer many lives will be saved and empowered.

I wore this outfit at work this Monday. It was very hot and my dress is strappy and sleeveless - therefore, I had to cover up to protect my skin from the sun and hide my thick arms as sometimes I don't feel comfortable showing them.

Have you done your part to contribute towards Breast Cancer Awareness??? If you have not, please do something cause its the right thing to do :)
