Anchored Maxi Skirt

Good Afternoon fabulous friends :)

TGIF!!! I know, we all are tired from this entire weeks share of work from our workplaces but lets celebrate that at least we are getting a breather before next Monday arrives :)

I wont say much than just telling you this is an outfit I wore at work yesterday. Thought, it was worth taking pictures of - the weather has been so misleading lately. We are expecting shiny sun and we get something like that but mixed with cold wind ... this outfit accommodated that kind of weather.

I loved this outfit in person and the pictures are also making me love it more. What is on trend where you at??? Maxi Skirts are trending in South Africa and people are really rockin 'em, I strongly think I do too :) Don't, I?????

Good Morning friends!!!

I apologise for neglecting you this past week, I really have been very busy! I promise to take extra care of you from now on ... I know, my apology is accepted cause you all are sweet lovies :)

The boring old me has chosen a Maxi dress I bought 2yrs back in Australia at an Indian shop in Bondi Beach Junction Westfield called Tree Of Life. This dress is summery and springy!!! Light, colourful and airy ... its exactly what I need to survive a warm/hot weather.  I wore this Outfit last Sunday and all these pictures are taken in Durban after having had breakfast where I slept. I was preparing to head to my church meetings and later have lunch at Pavilion Mall before heading home.

I received many compliments and therefore think this a nice version of maxi!!! What Maxi Are you rocking at this time of the year where you at??? Do you love Maxi's as much as I do? I hope so, they are so free and flowy :)

Curves Aroun the World: Week 19 - SEQUINS

Good morning, y'all!!!

Sequins theme for this weeks Curves Around the World has just arrived and happened. Since I am not a fan of sequins I really was scratching my head for this one because I have no sequined items in my closet at all. I thought I would buy a top or dress just to make this post possible - ran around looking came back tired with no luck. NO LUCK AT ALL :)

Few days ago whilst resting in my room my eyes met up with this sequined beret from my hat stand and whoallaaaaaa an idea immediately came :) I bought this beret this previous winter at Mr Price with another sequined navy one. Thought id wear them during winter just to familiarise myself with sequins as I own none in my closet at the moment. I had so many ideas as this beret is my focal point for todays post  but I ended up with this version: which I hope is appealing to you as it does for me.

I paired  this outfit with my recent buy *fashion world Spring Dress* - All other items worn are just thrown in to spice up and jazz up my outfit. I am pleased with this outfit. Hope you as well!!!

Are you the Queen of Sequins? Why? What do you usually wear them with??? What is your recent sequin buy?

Wish id continued taking pics in my office with my phone - they are so clear and much nicer I think!!!

Ombre Oxblooded Maxi Dress

Good Evening ... ladies!!!

I have been seeing some ombre maxi dresses in stores and on the streets of Mzansi - some are nicer than others. Whilst enjoying these scenes, I remembered that over the past few years I also invested in an ombre maxi that I buried eversince last summer - I hunted down for this dress from my closet for another wear at the office. Because its not really summery yet, I decided to pair this dress with my knit American flag crop top - to warm me up at work.

Has the ombre trend kicked-in in your country???

Dress: Woolworths

Bag: Coach

Enjoy the rest of your weekend my fabulous friends and thank you so much for your feedback and visit to my page. See you soon!!!

Curves Around The World: Week 18 - High Waisted

Heya, fabulous friends....

Its that time of the week again and I know how you have been waiting to see what we have in store for you this week. Our theme is High Wasted!!! Nice, right? Really, who doesn't love high waisted clothing items? They certainly give us shape and bring that womanly vava-voom.

I decided to wear my thrifted flowered high wasted boob tube dress. It is Spring and the weather is really warming up. So, this outfit was worn last Friday at work as you all know we always wear casual outfits on these days. This was my version of being casual at work. I really love this outfit: it is funky, playful and cute. Yes, I really am beautiful and I see that from these pictures.

I have been very busy at work last week as a result I have not been able to take decent pictures. I am just lucky to have these pictures because my colleagues like taking pictures of me even when we are working and I really don't mind them doing that as long as you can see REAL ME on these pictures with my entire attire clearly.

So, what do you think of my High Wasted Version? What is your favourite High Wasted item? Pants, Skirt or Dress - Or all of them, WHY NOT???
