Le Coq Sportif Leopard Print Sneakers

Hey, guys!!!

Its DECEMBER, mmhhh!!! Time flies period. I wanted to title this post PATCHWORK, PRINTS & VELVET MESHUP but remembered that the excitement about the pictures is actually about my Le Coq Sportif Leopard Print Sneaks.

Bought these sneakers out of impulse only because I love leopard printed items. It was until I received them to realise I made a sensible decision buying them. They are so comfy and trendy. I have so many ideas how i'll incorporate them in my daily looks. They got delivered whilst I was on my way to see a friend and I never hesitated to wear them on the spot even though my outfit was not built around them - they seem to fit perfectly :)

Do you ever buy things you don't need but later find them useful?

Great thing is that they are on sale now ever since last week Black Friday Sale. They are 70% discounted from R600 to R180. Size is still available. Check them here.

Curves Around The World: Seasonal

Good Morning - guys!!!

I have been very scarce and as a result this post is very late but I thought its better late than never. So, I am posting it anyway. Please forgive me, I really like being consistent with my posts. Life just happened!!!
This posts theme is SEASONAL because 5 of us (Curves Around the World participants) live in different countries with different Season through out the year.

I am in South Africa and right now its the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer and this is the kind of weather I love because I get to wear simple, flowy, airy and colourful outfits which lift my mood. I don't know why but I think there is something remedial about it.

So, this is my take for Spring/Summer Season Outfit!!!

What is the current season where you are and which one is your favourite???

FATNESS SWAG

Hey guys,

Hope you all enjoying your weekend. Just wanna share with you my todays outfit and live you with this message. Accepting and loving ones self is very much vital because it gives you satisfaction and peace of mind: ALWAYS!!! This applies to everyone: THICK or THIN

There's always rules, perceptions and attitudes towards what FAT PEOPLE must or must not wear and that upsets me because why cant we be given freedom of wearing what we feel like and just be accepted as we are instead of being trapped in a box. We are as smart and creative like everyone else breathing in this planet. Why are we treated as if we are just dumb souls who cant make sensible decisions concerning our wardrobes? Who doesn't know that they should look a certain way when in different situations??? Whats more upsetting is the fact that we have limited options and yet have to be told what to do as if things that are being suggested are always within reach. I struggle finding clothes and getting someone telling me what not to wear is just devastating.

As a result of all this: We FAT people are expected to look a certain way and if we are non compliant to this then we are regarded TRASHY. Well, you can call me trashy as much as you want - if I feel good and see myself looking great when looking at my mirror - the rest is history. Ofcoz, I would never get out of my house not ensuring I look decent. When people see me around the streets they give me some stares *which I love* :) because many fat people are less confident to spice up their looks to their satisfaction and this is due to media and society that have prisoned them in a boring box. ME on the other side I REFUSE to fall into that trap because I love dressing up. I look around the world of fashion and get inspired to wear what I feel like because is not a crime to do so.

I hope this post inspires many FAT WOMEN out there to break the chain of imprisonment and liberate themselves into a great world of style and fashion without doubts and regrets for exploring looks that they have been aspiring to wear.

This is me TODAY and I am LOVING MY OUTFIT :)

I haven't worn pants for more than 8 years now because I hated how I looked because I am fat - right now, I am all grown up and understand even though I am fat and struggling to lose this weight I am allowed to wear what I like when I need to: REGARDLESS of my weight. Whilst figuring my way on how to lose this weight, I must not punish myself and not live and lead a positive life I need for myself because not everything is about how much I weigh. So, I am embracing me as I am and people like GarnerStyle, KellieB, the_ms_supa_thickk and others are great examples for many women in my position to do themselves at all times.

What are you scared of wearing in public??? When do you think you'll free yourself? Think about that :)

Curves Around the World: Week21 - Pink

Good Morning, Fabulous Friends!!!!

Its ROUND3 of Curves Around The World themed outfits. This Weeks theme is Pink. One of our members Nina came up with this theme because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I am glad she suggested  because we have to honour and support this awareness campaign. So, this post is dedicate to all those who did not make it, the survivors, fighters and also serves as an education to those who do not know their status to encourage asap testing.

I have seen plenty of bloggers educating their readers about Breast Cancer in total and I am happy about this because the more we talk about Breast Cancer many lives will be saved and empowered.

I wore this outfit at work this Monday. It was very hot and my dress is strappy and sleeveless - therefore, I had to cover up to protect my skin from the sun and hide my thick arms as sometimes I don't feel comfortable showing them.

Have you done your part to contribute towards Breast Cancer Awareness??? If you have not, please do something cause its the right thing to do :)

Curves Aroun the World: Week 19 - SEQUINS

Good morning, y'all!!!

Sequins theme for this weeks Curves Around the World has just arrived and happened. Since I am not a fan of sequins I really was scratching my head for this one because I have no sequined items in my closet at all. I thought I would buy a top or dress just to make this post possible - ran around looking came back tired with no luck. NO LUCK AT ALL :)

Few days ago whilst resting in my room my eyes met up with this sequined beret from my hat stand and whoallaaaaaa an idea immediately came :) I bought this beret this previous winter at Mr Price with another sequined navy one. Thought id wear them during winter just to familiarise myself with sequins as I own none in my closet at the moment. I had so many ideas as this beret is my focal point for todays post  but I ended up with this version: which I hope is appealing to you as it does for me.

I paired  this outfit with my recent buy *fashion world Spring Dress* - All other items worn are just thrown in to spice up and jazz up my outfit. I am pleased with this outfit. Hope you as well!!!

Are you the Queen of Sequins? Why? What do you usually wear them with??? What is your recent sequin buy?

Wish id continued taking pics in my office with my phone - they are so clear and much nicer I think!!!
