The journey that started on a very low key is definately ending with a high note as from today :)

Today was a special day for me as I was graduating on my 2 Masters program (Master of Epideniolody/Biostatistics and Master of Health Management). I am so happy, cant believe the journey is over!!!! Ok, enough bout serious stuff. Im writing this post to share my outfit for the graduation. I had plenty of fun putting it together. So enjoy the snaps ive attached to this post. I really love my hair cut its fun n funky and goes well with all styles you can think of. That smile is golden yet priceless ... Earings are from Lovisa got them for $15.

 

The velvet biker jacket im wearing is from thrift for 10 bucks. It fits me very well and its glam short sleeves actually short everything and has a good stretch feel.

 I used Rimmel Vinyl Max lipgloss ... its just a pink shade. Nothing else, thats it. I love this lipgloss it stays for longer and its affordable. Got it from Coles Supermarket for $12.

 My nice jewel ring is from Mr Price in South Africa .. i think i bought it for $1 equivalent to 8rands.

 My very nice bangle that goes with everthing in my closet is definately from my mothers closet ... yes it is very vintage and very beautiful. I am happy moms handed it to me. Great treasure!!!

 Thats my thrifted leather bag made in India got it for $5.

 

 My KG Pansy Espadrille wedges were bought from ASOS for $76 and that was a half price. They are no longer available. They sold out.

 Its a comfortable leather wedge. Good for a night out not to stress the feet. Actually I am a huge fan of wedges :) Love them love them love them too much!!!!!!

BEAUTIFICATION DAY

The day me and my friends waited for, finally came "yipppeeeee". Its non other than the MAKEOVER DAY and Makeup Lesson from Mary Kay. I consider myself as a light makeup user. All I care about is skin care more than having a huge concentration on makeup as a result thats why I use and consider makeup as my toner and moisturiser... oh, also my Mascarra ofcoz not forgetting my compressed powder from M.A.C. COSMETICS... and also my lip gloss. So, today I hugely benefitted from the lecture and product testing as I discovered there's more to makeup than just that. Ive never used any foundation like the one thats liquid form, concealer, eye revitalizer etc etc.... Four of my friends came over for the session and we had a blast. It was a nice session and the Representative from Mary Kay was patient with us and fully explained everything she could and allowed us to try some products. So, I should say I kinda went wild as I said before I dont normally wear makeup and if I do I usually go nuetral. Today, was just a day for me to break the boundaries and see what colour makeup can do for me and my skin type. I was just the 80s icon "being bright all the way" without holding back..... My friends kinda gave me a hard time saying, that was too much but it was enough for me to show off as I immediately got inspired to head to the cinema later on. Ok, at the cinema we (me and my other friend) watched THE BACHELORETTE and it is a MUST WATCH MOVIE!!! Here is the movie trailer ... check it out Bachelorette Trailer. Keeping Fit Whilst Embracing One's Curves

When I came across this picture on Thick Females Are Beautiful it reminded me how important it really is to keep fit even if we celebrate our curves. I feel so guilty because I have not been to the gym this entire week. My excuse would be that, i was having a busy week with my Research Project but is this excuse good enough to keep me away from the gym facility? I certainly dont think so. It is sadening as well when I think of all the crap I have been shoving down my throat this entire week. When I am stressed out and under pressure I tend to eat more than usual (thats constant snacking on savoury snacks as I dont have a sweet tooth). I have been eating my Lite and Easy food package However, now that im recalling ... I actually managed to sneak in some chicken wings and packet of barberque Shapes Biscuits and more ofcoz :( So, how do I redeem myself from this bad habit of ending up toping my healthy diet with rubbish???? Please help!!! Its not like I enjoy the things I endup eating instead I just become disgusted and left feeling with guilt moreover unhappy. I guess, I a writing this essay because I am feeling guilty and I am seeking to get my control back because at the moment I feel powerless. Going to Fitness First will be my 1st step tomorrow morning. I would be happy if you can give your advice as well. Tulz*

Its a tough day for both presidential candidates. I hope the entire American Nation is out there to those voting stations to ensure their voices are heard. Its TODAY or NEVER. I hope everyone realise that this opportunity to decide who to represent the AMERICAN NATION comes once after every many years. "MELBOURNE CUP"

Its that time of the year tomorrow - the *Melbourne Cup* .... this is an important event in Australia for horse racing. It is hosted every first tuesday of November annually. Ladies have been pasing up today trying to ensemble outfits last minute for tomorrow. What would be your ultimate derby outfit if you were to attend this big horse racing tomorrow??? Remember, its a day to show off whether with a bag, hat, dress, shoes or all: as there will be an best outfit chosen at the end of the day. So, what would you have worn or what makes the best "Race Horse Outfit"?????
