Curves Around The World: Week12 - RED

Hi fabulous ladies!!!

Summer is approaching slowly but surely :) Recently, the weather has been more forgiving - so much that winter layers are peeling off one by one everyday. I wore this outfit at work and later added a cardigan and heeled pumps to show you how I would have taken the same work outfit to a late night drinks/supper with friends outfit.

This weeks theme is RED. I love red but do not like the idea of wearing red from head to toe even though I wore red like that in this post here and looked fabulous. I normally prefer to use red to spice up my outfits like I have done here in this post.

How do you normally use red in your outfits? Do you go ALL RED from head to toe or just use red to rather SPICE UP your outfits?

OOTD: Levi's Denim Anorak Poncho Jacket

Good evening, fab ladies!

This is a quick post. I am just sharing an outfit I wore today driving to see my mother. She stays 5hrs away when driving from where I work and stay. Its a long weekend and as usual everyone visits family during these holidays.

My friend Sara bought me this Levi's Anorak Poncho and I have been owing her proof that this jacket still rocks my world and the bucks she spent on it were worth it cause it was darn expensive. She bought the anorak at Myers where I also bought the black GAP sweater dress worn underneath. This outfit is just me trying to be warm and comfortable. Moreover, be Stylish effortlessly :)

I have been avoiding wearing this poncho for the past 10months since its purchase because after having it I kinda noticed that it actually looks like it is adding bulkiness I don't need to my frame but realised I was not fair to myself and the garment itself as the are many ways to balance items out and end up with a great silhouette. Now that I have worn this Anorak I am excited how ill ensemble with other interesting pieces in my wardrobe.

What item do you have in your closet that is still not worn and has a price tag on it? Why is this?

Dress (GAP): Myers, Anorak Poncho: Myers, Scarf and Boots: Woolworths, Stockings: Asos, Bag: Fossil, Earings: MrPrice, Glasses: Cotton On, Bangles: Lovisa,MrPrice&Truworths, Watch: Guess

This is how the Levis Anorak was designed to be worn...

After my long trip I took a bath to refresh and relax myself!!

I get so emotional when I visit my mother - I love her so much and that she taught me all great things I know. Moreover, the room you see below is my childhood room and I cant believe I have grown and achieved this much. Still love my room tons and I feel safe whenever I am occupying it!

Thank you for visiting my page and thank you for leaving a feedback behind for me cause I really like hearing from you.

I am very sleepy, I better vanish....
Thank you.

Cheers,

My Fragrance Corner

Good afternoon, Fabulous Ladies!!!

Today I thought I should share my fragrance corner as you all know I have love for expensive bags, sunglasses and fragrances. My excuse for this is that I easily get clothes cheaper because I thrift most of the time and therefore don't use much money on them. Indulging on those 3 makes my life complete, lets face it: a bag, sunglasses and perfume really adds character to every woman.

In the following weeks, ill be starting to review each of my fragrances. I am not sure I would be able to do it because I have never reviewed anything before but I know its possible. I guess my first time to do it has arrived. I really will need your help on this as I find it difficult to explain smells (base, middle or top notes of perfumes).

What do you think? Is this something you would love seeing on this page as a regular feature? If you do fragrance reviews on your page please hook me up with tips on how to easily do it. Sometimes I like short cuts, there is nothing wrong with that absolutely :)

What is your current favourite fragrance???

This corner has been accumulated over the past 3years. There's few I cant stand from this collection, I guess you'll hear bout that in detail when I start doing reviews for each bottle.

My recent purchase is Elie Saab and its a happy buy cause I have been eyeing this fragrance for quite sometime because the 90ml bottle is very expensive, so I had to accumulate some money. I don't regret investing in it coz it is a great perfume for winter too. I know, ill be using it in summer - kinda "best of both worlds fragrance" or should I say seasons? - that's my opinion but we will see bout that.

Your feedback is important to me. So, please leave a comment behind and thank you so much for visiting this page.

Cheers, Thulie :)

Curves Around The World: Week11 - Statement Earings

Good morning ladies!

Hope you are great today. It is that time of the week for themed outfits and this weeks theme is STATEMENT EARINGS. When I was planning outfits for this theme I was thinking I should go big on chandelier earings but dismissed that thought as I am fond of studs. I therefore decided to go bigger on studs as they are my favourite. I paired these dark green studs with my thrifted dress and bag and also added nude wedge heel pumps which I recently scored from Truworths sale.

Because the dress is an earthy statement: gold and brown accessories were thrown in the mix too. This ensemble screams sexy cocktails, I love it - what do you think???

What are your go to statement earings???

Monochrome: Part 2

Good evening, fabulous ladies!

Tonight I am just sharing the post I did not use for my Curves Around the World - Monochrome Theme as I decided to use the previous post over it. The previous outfit post was inspired by this one. So these pictures I took  them when I went out with girls on a Saturday night out for drinks and Barbeque. It really was a great night and I was looking hot and sexy in my black and white number. I bought the dress at Asos in 2012 and I am still loving it big time.

I should really mention that by the time I remembered taking these pictures I already had few glasses of wine and I was full with Barbie and that's confirmed by my loose dress belt hehehehehe. The quality and focus of these pictures is not great I am sure my photographer was in the same state, lol. What else can we do when we decide to let loose??? Overall, I had a great evening.

So, dig in folks and enjoy :) Your feedback is highly appreciated.
